Accessibility statement

Our commitment to making this site usable by everyone.

Last updated: 2026-05-08.

Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site. Accessibility is a core part of how we build, not a bolt-on. If you can't access something on this site, that is a bug we want to know about.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmarks (header, main, footer, navigation, article).
  • Skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Color contrast ratios verified against WCAG 2.1 AA at body sizes.
  • All form fields explicitly labeled.
  • All meaningful images have alt text; decorative images are correctly marked as such.
  • prefers-reduced-motion respected. Animations turn off when the OS asks for them to.
  • Keyboard navigation supported throughout.

Known limitations

This is a living site. Some pages may temporarily fall short of full conformance as we add new content or third-party embeds. We track and fix issues as they're reported.

Report an accessibility issue

If something is hard or impossible to use, please tell us. Email hello@sharedworldproject.com with the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the device / assistive technology you were using. We respond within five business days and prioritize a fix.
