Verify a Shared World record

Paste the verification code from any service record, court letter, grant report, or signed waiver — or scan the QR on the document. Shared World will confirm whether the issued record still matches what was sealed at the time it was created.

How verification works

  1. When an organization approves volunteer hours, Shared World records the volunteer, organization, opportunity, approved hours, and approval time in a locked verification record.
  2. The verification code on a service record or QR code checks that locked record. If the issued record no longer matches, the verifier reports that it cannot be trusted.
  3. Courts, grant officers, insurers, and partner organizations can use this page without signing in.

Use the verification result with the original service record, letter, or grant report. If the code does not match, ask the issuing organization for a fresh copy.
